Dr. Markowitz is currently serving as the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences here at Holy Family, where he has been a professor since 2009.
Prior to Holy Family, Markowitz served as faculty and an administrator at Widener University and Cabrini College as well as a previous stint at Holy Family. He was also a Fellow with the American Council on Education at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.
He holds a doctorate in Sociology from Temple University, a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, a master’s degree in Sociology from Temple University, and a bachelor’s degree from Richard Stockton State College.
